· Created store retail process flows and associates‘ persona kits for over 100k Sam’s Club employees by investigating 3+ region markets, and 5+ stores, and talking to 20+ employees across the US.
· Coordinated with the fulfillment department to form solutions to operational issues, and promoted 2 functions into the pipeline.
· Led the redesign and improved the usability of the Sam’s Club mobile app.
The Home Depot
Worked with the design and operational team to improve the curbside experience on the mobile app. Resulted in an 80% return rate.
I worked with Youngwook, Do at Ubicomp, Georgia Institute of Technology on the investigation of smart speaker users' privacy and identity perception. In this role, I assumed a leadership position in designing the user research study, overseeing the development of methodologies, and actively contributing to facilitating workshops. Additionally, I was responsible for moderating user interviews, employing a nuanced approach to elicit meaningful insights from participants.
Through this collaborative effort, we aimed to deepen our understanding of the nuanced factors influencing users' perceptions of privacy and identity in the context of smart speakers and improve user experience with a new-invented interactable prototype.
